quiet corner of Ditmas Park. Sycamore creates hand-tied bouquets and artisanal
pottery during the day, and pours small-batch bourbons, microbrews, and barley
wine at night. It also hosts live performances by local musicians. “We liked
the idea of combining two businesses in one place, like Marlow and Sons in
Williamsburg where there’s a little grocery shop up front and a dining space in
the back… This is the perfect place for a boyfriend. If he’s not in a fight, he
can come in for flowers. If he’s in a fight, he can come, talk to the
bartender, realize he’s wrong and then get flowers.”
Carpenter and woodworker rooted in Brooklyn, NY. Shares a
workshops with other artisans, for added support and shared inspiration. Crafts
custom pieces of furniture and interior installations for both personal homes
and commercial spaces.

artistry into fragrance. Each item is hand-crafted with traditional techniques,
using sustainable materials and involving local artisans. “It’s a very intimate company. We all work
very closely together, and essentially every single products we distribute
touches everyone’s hands along the way.”
Ceramist and designer behind Clam Lab, a Brooklyn-based
studio that produces hand-crafted tableware. Each piece begins on a human
powered kick wheel and is finished with hand-mixed glazes. All with the
