Made in Japanese linen. Garment dyed into a deep black color. The fabric is fairly light weight with nice drape.
This coat is extremely difficult to make. The garment is made first and then garment dyed for the special olive color. Then the whole garments need to be sewn and amended due to all the seams are open after heavy wash.
Inspired by 1920s coat silhouette. Broader soft shoulder. Shaped body with large flap pockets. Long back vent.
