This jacket is created to serve different purposes. It is a combination of an over shirt and a work jacket. The fabric is made of a very tonal wool plaid with a more structured loook and double layered with a puckered soft herringbone cotton. The two layers provide the right weight to hold the shape of a jacket and yet very soft and pliable for layering. I wear this jacket in replacement of a vest to keep myself warm when I am indoors.
The length is on the shorter side so if you are taller than 6'2", maybe this style is not suitable for you.
The details include a contrast trim under the collar, side slit, a slightly longer arm length and contrast buttonhole at chest pocket.
