Fit Guide - Kai D. Pants and Shorts

Borough Pants:

Our signature cut based on 1910s work trousers. Medium rise, fishtail back with adjustable buckle.  Overall trim fit.   Red binding detail at the cuffs.   

Kerouac Pants:

Our original slim pants.  Lower rise.  Slim from thigh through knee and bottom opening.

Novelist Pants:

Classic high waisted pants with unique adjustable tabs at side waist.   Very meticulous porportions from hip to kniee and bottom opening.  Please note there are two versions:  Regular version and longer version.  The longer version is about one size bigger than the regular version which is suitable for someone 6' or taller.

Cooper Pants:

Classic high waisted pants with a trim shape.  Side adjustable tabs.  No beltloops.  Normally suggest you size up.   If you wear size 32 borough pants, then you should size up to size 34 for the Cooper pants.

Matisse Pants:

Inspired by the pleated pants from the late 1930s and 1940s.   Double pleats.  Roomy around thigh through knee with very slight tapered shape at bottom leg.

Journeyman Pants:

Our latest edition.  Kind of a hybrid between Matisse pants and Novelist pants.  The waist construction is following the Novelist pants.  The leg volume is in between Matisse pants and Novelist pants.  Pre-cuffed.

Bosun Pants:

Our high waisted plant front pants based on vintage work trousers.   In general, suggest to size down from the Borough pants.   If you wear size 32 Borough pants, should size down to size 30 of the Bosun pants.

Martin Shorts:

Our only shorts.    In general, please size up for this shorts.  If you wear size 32 Borough pants, please order size 34 of the Martin shorts.
