Miyama (美山) translates to "beautiful mountains" in Japanese. It most commonly refers to a remote, scenic rural district in Kyoto Prefecture, famous for its preserved traditional thatched-roof farmhouses.
Inspired by Japanese farmer coats. Fully reversible. One side in soft indigo canvas (bio washed for a faded indigo look). The other side in traditional indigo Kasuri print cotton. Hand stitched boro details using vintage Japanese textiles.
