P.F. Candles at Kai D.

Pommes Frites Candle Co. is an artisanal candle company based in downtown Los Angeles, run by husband and wife team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. 

Pommes Frites was started by Kristen in Austin, TX in 2008. While Tom was always happy to help behind the scenes, he came on board officially in 2013. Kristen brings over 15 years of candle making experience to the table, having poured her first candle at the age of 12.

All of their candles are made using domestically grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, fine fragrance oils, and apothecary inspired packaging. Jars are finished off with a simple label and brass lid. Each candle is hand poured in our Arts District studio.

Kai D. now carries a selection of products.  Some of the best sellers include 'Teakwood and Tobasco' and 'Amber and Moss.'  Be careful, these candles are very 'additive'.  Once you start using them, you can't live without them!
