A little over a year ago, NBF submitted a winning proposal and earned access to the former parking lot of the Domino Sugar Refinery, which had become a vacant parcel of land. NBF began working the landscape and preparing it for vegetable and flower production. Neighbors came out to help and soon a group of volunteers became vital members of the farm team.

Kai D. Fall 2014 Preview

I have been working on new silhouettes for Fall jackets for the past few months and the protos are nearly finalized to go into production.  The Redfield Jacket (in Rust color) is a hybrid of a shooting jacket and a barn coat.  It has a detachable self belt which is usually tied on the back waist.  The chest welt pocket has a zipper closure.  The lining is a soft cotton flannel.  The shell fabric is in wax cotton.

Kai D. Fall 13 New Arrival

It has been a long wait.  Our Fall 13 collection is finally complete.  Inspired by the Terra Nova Expedition led by captain Robert Falcon Scott with the objective of being the first to reach the geographical South Pole.  For this collection, we are using the compact wool felt from Bacci, an Italian artisan mill based just outside of Florence, as well as the timeless wax cotton from Japan.  Our new tie collection is made out of English tweed.  The super comfortable
