Dean Ebben is a Brooklyn based artist. He is best know for his interdisciplinary approach to art making working in video, sound, sculpture, performance, papermaking and bookmaking.
Most recently Ebben’s work has been shown in such museums and galleries as Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters in New Brunswick, NJ, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Minneapolis, MN, Museum of Biblical Art, NY, Alice R. Rogers and Target Galleries, Saint John’s University, Collegeville, MN, SUNY Cortland, Cortland, NY, A Gathering of the Tribes, New York, NY and The Center for Book Arts, NY.
His work is included in numerous public and private collections such as Dieu DonnéPaper Mill Inc, NY, Library of Congress, Washington DC, University of Iowa Library, IA
Ebben earned his BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Massachusetts, where he studied sculpture and papermaking, and earned his MFA with distinction from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York where he studied video and installation.
