Kai D. Fall 2014 Preview

I have been working on new silhouettes for Fall jackets for the past few months and the protos are nearly finalized to go into production.  The Redfield Jacket (in Rust color) is a hybrid of a shooting jacket and a barn coat.  It has a detachable self belt which is usually tied on the back waist.  The chest welt pocket has a zipper closure.  The lining is a soft cotton flannel.  The shell fabric is in wax cotton.

Wolf and Friend + Kai D.

Wolf and Friend was created by Shelley Batuyong, who has spent her entire career designing and obsessing over graphic tees.  Shelley and I worked together on numerous consulting projects and I have great admiration for her conceptual and designing talents.  The inspiration and muse of Wolf and Friend are her dog 'Token' and her son 'Emerson'.  They taught her that 'All Good Things are Wold + Free, W+F.  All sweat shirts are handscreened in New York and available at Kai D.X

Pommes Frites Candle Co. is an artisanal candle company based in downtown Los Angeles, run by husband and wife team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. 

Pommes Frites was started by Kristen in Austin, TX in 2008. While Tom was always happy to help behind the scenes, he came on board officially in 2013. Kristen brings over 15 years of candle making experience to the table, having poured her first candle at the age of 12.X
